African Violet - Miniatures

Miniature refers to the size of a mature, single-crowned African violet with small leaves, which is 6'' or less in diameter. Semiminiatures are 8'' or less in diameter, while microminiatures have a maximum diameter of less than 3''. Miniature African violets grow best in a 2'' to 2.25'' pot. A general rule is that the pot should be one-third the diameter of the leaf span.
